Technical Notes
- Unsigned builds may show SmartScreen — “More info → Run anyway” until code-signing is complete. See SmartScreen instructions.
- Windows 11 Smart App Control may block unsigned apps with no override. Code-signing is on the roadmap.
- Gemini uses your Google Takeout folder/JSON (most reliable path). See Gemini Takeout guide.
How to Use the App (4 steps)
- Open TotalRecalls.exe — No installation required.
- Pick a provider — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini (Takeout), or Grok.
- Sign in locally — A small window opens so you can sign in normally—like a browser. (Gemini uses your Google Takeout folder.)
- Export — Your chats land in a folder you choose, under Library/, as Markdown + JSON.
